Full-time Grounds Worker Custodian presso CORE Butte Charter School

CORE Butte Charter School is seeking a full-time Grounds Worker Custodian. This position is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and general maintenance of CORE Butte Charter School’s athletic facilities, grounds, and Gymnasium. Typical duties for this role may include, preparing, repairing and maintaining athletic fields; blowing, cleaning, sweeping, brushing and clearing/cleaning bleachers and stadiums of debris and trash. Maintaining general cleanliness of assigned areas; sweeping walkways; removing trash; raking and removing weeds, regularly buffing, polishing, and cleaning gymnasium floor. Must be able to operate, maintain and service gardening and grounds maintenance equipment, including power equipment, blower, saws, shears, buffer, trucks and turf vacuum, and other maintenance equipment. May need to operate School vehicles on roads and School grounds; pull trailers as needed to haul equipment, coordinate and oversee school-based and community facility grounds usage for special events - i.e. setting up, cleaning up and serving as facility point of contact during events. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A typical schedule for this role may be Wednesday-Friday from 1:00p-9:30p and Sat/Sun 8a-5p.
