Project Title: Workday Change Management Lead - HCM & Payroll
Level: Mid-Senior
Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months
Project Hours:40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid (or travel to) Dallas, TX - Philadelphia, PA - Denver, CO
The expected compensation for this contract is around $176K to $187K per year. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.
Key Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to support a large-scale Workday HCM, Payroll, and Time implementation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working across the organization. The Change Manager will design and execute change management strategies that engage stakeholders, mitigate resistance, and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and plan to support the Workday implementation.
- Assess organizational readiness and identify potential risks and barriers to adoption.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to define the case for change and communicate program benefits clearly and effectively.
- Design and deliver communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs.
- Build tools, templates, and processes to help leaders and employees transition smoothly to the new Workday environment.
- Track and measure adoption, engagement, and business impact of the change program.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to project leadership, escalating risks and recommending interventions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in organizational change management consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity with proven success in large-scale technology implementations.
- Experience leading a change management team for least one end-to-end comprehensive Workday HCM, Payroll and Time implementation.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and/or Time modules and related HR processes.
- Experience in the energy or industrial sectors strongly desired. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Prosci or similar change management certification preferred.
