We’re looking for a creative, driven, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant to join our team and help shape the future of our brand.
Position Overview
This is a full-time in-office position at ShotVet. As our Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant, you will play a dual role—leading the creation of compelling design assets and assisting the Marketing Manager in executing strategic campaigns. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a collaborative office environment, is passionate about marketing, and wants to make an impact on both brand growth and pet parent engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
Design engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
Create visuals for email campaigns, website updates, and digital ads.
Develop short-form video assets, motion graphics, and reels to increase engagement.
Maintain brand consistency across all visual outputs.
Marketing Support
Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Support the Marketing Manager with content calendar management and scheduling assets.
Help coordinate event and promotion graphics for ShotVet’s clinics.
Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions to support campaign strategy.
Collaborate with in-office teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
Administrative & Strategic Contributions
Maintain and organize the digital asset library for efficient team use.
Track and report on design and content engagement metrics.
Research emerging design and marketing trends to keep ShotVet’s campaigns competitive.
Qualifications
2–4 years professional experience in graphic design, marketing, or a related role.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing and social media design work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva.
Video editing or motion graphics experience.
Strong understanding of branding, typography, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for design.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to take direction, apply feedback, and work independently.
