Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Acquisition Marketing will own planning and performance of customer acquisition across digital and offline channels, with responsibility for delivering measurable growth in subscribers and revenue. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced idea generator and hands-on operator with at least 10 years of experience in direct-to-consumer marketing. Background in online subscription businesses is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, strategy and execution across core performance channels: SEM, display, native, mobile and paid social.

  • Expand acquisition into new growth channels including TV, radio, CTV, podcast, and emerging media, driving test-and-learn programs.

  • Build and manage integrated media plans, ensuring optimal channel mix and investment efficiency to maximize ROAS and LTV.

  • Partner with analytics to drive measurement, attribution, and cohort analysis, turning insights into action.

  • Collaborate with product and creative teams to deliver campaigns that connect performance marketing with mid- and upper-funnel awareness.

  • Develop, manage agency and vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and holding partners accountable for results.

  • Mentor and develop an (already) high-performing acquisition team, fostering creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Consistent growth in subscribers and revenue through efficient acquisition across digital and offline channels.

  • Entry into efficient new media channels that broaden reach and diversify lead flow.

  • Expansion of a testing culture that delivers actionable insights and continuous improvement.

  • Develop new media attribution approaches and reporting tools/dashboards that measure ROI and inform future planning.

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • 10+ years of acquisition marketing experience with proven success scaling DTC businesses.

  • Expertise in performance channels (SEM, display, streaming, social) and comfort investing in offline channels (TV, radio, podcast, CTV).

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated, subscription-based categories strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on knowledge of attribution models, media mix, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, attribution platforms, marketing automation).

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver results against aggressive growth targets.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.  Agency experience is also a plus but not required.

Salary Range: 
Min:  $196,022.78
Mid:  $220,697.25
Max: $245,473.15

The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate. The actual compensation will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, a particular candidate’s experience and qualifications.
