Texas Regional Physicians is a fast-growing healthcare organization dedicated to clinical excellence and operational innovation. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Data Analyst to support our Data Analytics team with exporting, cleaning, and distributing critical reports that drive decision-making across clinical and legal operations.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Data Analyst will assist in data exports, report validation, and platform support across multiple healthcare and billing systems. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with Excel and reporting tools, and interested in learning healthcare data workflows. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Data Exports & Reporting (Primary Focus):
- Export scheduling, volume, and revenue data from Athena and Attorney Portal systems.
- Merge data files from multiple time periods (e.g., Jan–Jul and Aug–Dec) into consolidated reports.
- Clean problematic rows in exported reports (e.g., cancelled/no-show data).
- Export reports from HST and other platforms as needed.
- Review Power BI reports for errors or missing values; flag issues to senior analysts.
- Distribute recurring scheduling and volume reports via email.
Platform & User Support:
- Assist with new hire account setup across systems (Athena, EXA, SharePoint, Power BI, Attorney Portal, HST, Curogram, Email).
- Support employee termination workflows, including removing access and forwarding emails/phone extensions.
- Provide light support for scheduling requests (e.g., blocking schedules, adding new rooms or providers in Athena/EXA).
- Assist with exporting and auditing EXA and Curogram data.
- Support expanded reporting needs for compliance and operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Required:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, merging, cleaning data).
- Comfort working with multiple systems and learning new platforms.
- Strong communication skills for emailing and collaborating with team members.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare or data systems.
- Interest in healthcare operations and analytics.
