YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting CDL Transport Driver opportunity in our Merriam office. The CDL Transport Driver will be responsible for completing pre-trip / post trip inspection of Seaboard Food’s company trailers and tractors located at the St Joseph plant in addition to shuttling trailers to various locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preventive Maintenance on tractors and trailers (pre-trip / post trip inspections)
- Communicate to the maintenance supervisor about repairs needed
- Coordinate through dispatch moving the equipment to and from maintenance locations
- Trailer wash outs
- Coordinate through dispatch moving trailers from customer to plant
- Local runs

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- High School or GED.
- Class A CDL license required
- Analytically and mechanically minded.
- Local driving experience preferred
SCHEDULE Monday – Friday 4:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Some overtime may be required
- Some Saturdays may be required
- Some flexibility in start and end times may be needed

- The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
