What we are seeking
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead our Fort Worth production operations. This key leadership role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, highly customized manufacturing environment. About the Role

The Plant Manager will oversee the overall operation of the manufacturing plant, ensuring that all activities are coordinated effectively to meet production and quality standards.
At NT Window, the plant manager is responsible for the overall operation of our manufacturing plant. They coordinate the plant’s activities through production, quality control, maintenance, shipping, and receiving. They develop production schedules and make sure the plant has the necessary raw materials to meet demand. They also develop quality control procedures to ensure that finished products meet or exceed standards. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the plant’s employees and for maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.


Responsibilities

• Operations Management - Oversee daily production activities across all departments, ensure achievement of production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Monitor plant performance metrics and adjust resources as needed.
• Leadership and Team Development - Lead and coach department managers, supervisors, and staff. Promote a high-performance culture through clear goals, accountability, and continuous feedback. Support workforce planning, training, and talent development initiatives.
• Process Improvement and Lean Initiatives - Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing methodologies. Identify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies. Lead continuous improvement events and standardization efforts.
• Health, Safety, and Compliance - Ensure the plant operates in compliance with OSHA and other safety/environmental regulations. Promote a zero-injury culture and lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Budgeting and Cost Control - Manage operational budgets, control spending, and seek cost-reduction opportunities. Analyze labor, materials, and overhead costs to maintain profitability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and HR to align operational goals. Maintain open communication channels across shifts and departments.
• Reporting and Performance Analysis - Generate reports and dashboards on KPIs, downtime, scrap, and efficiency. Present operational updates and improvement plans as requested.


Requirements

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in plant management or manufacturing leadership; preferably in fenestration, building products, or related industries.
• Proven experience leading operations in a high-volume, highly customized, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in ERP systems, production planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
