Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support an innovative program. The candidate will lead the design and development of advanced, mission-critical systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in building scalable, secure solutions and mentoring junior engineers while working closely with system and hardware engineers to deliver cutting-edge capabilities. Work Location: 80% Onsite: Alexandria, Va.

Required Experience:

• 14+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Skills:

1. Expert-level proficiency with Flask and REST API development.
2. Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
3. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, software architecture, and system integration.
4. Proficiency with Git.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration skills.

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.

Desired Experience:

• Active Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and high-performance algorithms.
• Advanced experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or AWS GovCloud).
• AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent advanced certifications.
