Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our procurement team. This full-time, onsite role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality service to our stakeholder community and ensuring the efficient development, execution, and maintenance of contracts across the organization. The Contract Manager will serve as a key liaison between Procurement, stakeholders, suppliers, the Office of General Counsel, and shared service support for a subsidiary.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Through strong relationships with stakeholders, draft contract documents and manage workflow
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote excellence in procurement practices
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure continuity of service
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract template library
- Partner with the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Educate staff and monitor adherence to procurement policies
- Support procurement operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience handling contracts
- Proven expertise in managing commercial contracts and legal agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP systems experience is a plus
- Strong multitasking and goal-achievement capabilities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, educate, and collaborate
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated integrity as all staff are role models for MHS students
- Enthusiasm for engaging with students and contributing to the school’s mission
