Job Summary

Performs a variety of tasks of the Electronic Banking Department including but not limited to online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, and remote deposit functions. Monitors all debit card activities such as maintenance, fraud alerts, and disputes in compliance with ESB policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.

 

Job Functions

  • Performs a variety of functions related to consumer and commercial online banking and bill pay activities including:
    1. Assists employees and customers with problems and transaction resolutions
    2. Creates and notifies customers of new online banking access IDs
    3. Processes password resets
    4. Checks and responds to customer messages
    5. Monitors and logs daily ACH activity of Cash Management customers and processes returns when applicable
    6. Reviews online banking user maintenance keyed at the branches and verifies against the daily report
    7. Scans and verifies all online banking enrollment and maintenance documentation
  • Monitors debit card activity including:
    1. Reviews and/or processes debit card applications in a timely manner
    2. Reviews card orders and corrects errors, if applicable
    3. Performs card maintenance
    4. Reviews card maintenance keyed at the branches and verifies against the daily report
    5. Scans and verifies all debit card applications and maintenance documentation
    6. Prints and works fraud emails
    7. Processes, researches, settles, and provides customer notifications of disputes and adjustments in accordance with all bank and regulatory guidelines
  • Perform duties associated with Lockbox payment processing
    1. Pick up payments from post office for processing
    2. Sort and process customer payments for lockbox customers
    3. Submit payment file for processing
  • Reviews and approves mobile deposits and places holds when applicable
  • Downloads merchant capture deposits and sends daily files
  • Provides excellent customer service to promote and assist in the utilization of ESB’s electronic banking products and services
  • Completes other functions and responsibilities that may be added at the bank’s discretion

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) experience preferred
  • Time Management and multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision


Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Position operates in a professional office environment
  • Routine use of standard office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, photocopiers, calculators, and filing cabinets
  • Must be able to remain sedentary 50% of the time
  • Employee will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
