What you’ll do:
As an Audit Graduate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to develop essential audit skills, understand audit plans, prepare financial statements, develop a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic audit tools, and much more!
Conducting audits for our wide variety of clients across Australia provides an exciting chance to gain intricate knowledge of everyday business operations and financial reporting. You will work closely with our clients to establish trustworthy relationships and serve as their reliable advisors.
What does the Assurance and Advisory division do?
Join a dynamic team, tackling exciting audit challenges and growing together in a diverse environment. Our Audit team takes on a wide range of exciting responsibilities, including:
- Develop a basic ability to apply fundamental audit skills as incorporated in the RSM audit process;
- Develop a basic understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards;
- Develop a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic audit tools;
- Understands and performs audit testing as directed and in accordance with RSM policies and procedures;
- Complete allocated tasks in accordance with directions given; and
- Maintains personal documentation (training records, time sheets, expenses).
About you:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
- Begin undertaking further studies to attain relevant approved professional certification or post graduate studies within 12 months of commencement of role.
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong Communication Skills;
- Strong attention to detail; and
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
