Location: Quincy, IL
Pay Range: $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)
About the Role:
As a Medical Assistant Float, you’ll work across multiple departments, ensuring smooth operations and providing vital support to physicians and advanced practice providers. Your work will have a direct impact on delivering exceptional care to our patients while giving you opportunities for professional growth in a variety of clinical environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by accurately recording vital signs and medical histories.
- Perform administrative functions, including scheduling and maintaining detailed patient documentation.
- Coordinate referral appointments, medication refills, and other patient needs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls to ensure accurate communication of patient information.
- Schedule ancillary tests and procedures as directed and communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and medical equipment.
- Serve as a patient coach, offering support and care coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR certification required (available upon hire).
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA is preferred but not required.
- Open to learning medical terminology and expanding healthcare knowledge.
