We Are Looking For
The LTA Bid Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of contract bids to include reviewing incoming bids with Management assigning value to each project; ensuring packages are reviewed for completeness before delivery to the customer. This position involves reviewing incoming bids with management and ensuring packages are reviewed for completeness before delivery to the customer. The LTA Bid Analyst will coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements for LTAs, such as price lists and VMI requests. The LTA Bid Analyst assigns tasks daily and coordinates bid packages with Sales, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions. Commercial Governance and oversight of all multi-year bids and proposals for Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. The LTA Bid Analyst may be assigned multiple tasks daily.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Review incoming bids with management to confirm project requirements and assign value to each project as directed
- Verify bid packages for completeness and accuracy before submission to customers, following established guidelines
- Assist in the development of a winning proposal that contributes to FDH Electronics market growth and long- term profitability
- Coordinate bid responsibilities and requirements with appropriate business units to improve accuracy, win rates, margin expansion, and turnaround time
- Learn and maintain knowledge of part numbers, series, and commodity groups to support bid preparation
- Identify and recommend suppliers based on product quality, customer approvals, cost and supplier performance as directed
- Follow through on assignments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement efforts by following established processes and providing feedback on operational efficiencies
- Understand essential sales functions such as running price and cost analysis, reviewing margin and ensuring all pricing and financials are clearly summarized during the bidding stage
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required
- Handle multiple assigned tasks daily, prioritizing based on management guidance
- Clear and accurate data entry and documentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
- Associate’s degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Operations, or Business Analytics experience, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and creating visual tables and charts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks within deadlines
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with internal teams
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments under management guidance
- Customer-service attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, read, and understand terms and conditions of a contract required for proper administration of proposals and compliance
- Ability to be detailed-oriented and perform in-depth Technical/Professional research
- Clear and accurate data entry and documentation skills
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
