About the Role

 

Reporting to the Head of People Services, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things payroll—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the employee lifecycle. This is more than just processing numbers; it’s about enhancing the employee experience and supporting our People & Culture strategy. This is a contract role until January 2027

 

Your Key Duties will include:

 

  • Manage monthly payroll for all CPA Australia locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with our outsourced payroll provider to maintain high service standards.
  • Oversee end-of-period and end-of-financial-year payroll activities globally.
  • Provide exceptional support to employees and stakeholders on payroll matters.
  • Maintain and improve payroll policies and procedures for compliance and consistency.
  • Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate information.
  • Stay ahead of legislative changes to ensure global compliance.
  • Deliver accurate People & Culture payroll reporting to mitigate risk.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP SuccessFactors ‘PeopleHub’.
  • Assist with the annual remuneration review through data analysis and reporting.

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience managing payroll, ideally across multiple global locations.
  • Familiarity with ADP Payforce and ADP Streamline is a plus.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality work.
