We are looking for an entry-level Recruiting Assistant to support our Human Resources department and contribute to our mission of shaping the future of healthcare.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to get their start in both human resources and the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of our department and work closely with all HR functions in a key support role.



Position Summary


The Recruiting Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and project-based support to the HR department, with a primary focus on recruitment, onboarding, and the overall candidate experience. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.



Key Responsibilities


  • Recruitment Support:

    • Work closely with the recruiter to support all phases of the hiring process.

    • Review and assist with the screening of resumes.

    • Help maintain a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up.

    • Support the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs.

  • Onboarding & Administrative Support:

    • Assist with the full onboarding process, including scheduling pre-employment physicals and new hire orientation.

    • Collect and process new hire paperwork and conduct license verification.

    • Handle employment verification requests and data entry for background checks.

    • Maintain meticulous employee files to ensure they are "survey ready" for audits by DNV and The Joint Commission.

    • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate department.

  • General HR & Compliance:

    • Support the compliance associate with general hospital compliance requirements for new and current employees.

    • Assist with coordinating training classes and orientations for management and staff.

    • Provide support to the recruiter, HR team, and management with performance evaluations (90/120-day reviews).

    • Assist with various HR projects and programs as needed.



Education & Experience


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience at a staffing agency is a significant advantage.

  • A demonstrated interest in human resources is a key advantage.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with strong experience in Excel being a significant advantage.

  • Required to maintain strict confidentiality of all company and employee data.
