We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical QC Inspector to ensure our products meet all quality specifications and standards.
The Mechanical QC Inspector will oversee and perform inspections of mechanical components and assemblies within our manufacturing facility. Your keen eye for detail and thorough understanding of mechanical standards will help ensure that all products meet quality requirements, specifications, and safety standards. This position is responsible for working with other departments (Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, etc.) to meet Production and Quality objectives and delivery deadlines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies at various stages of production.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards to verify compliance.
- Use precision measurement tools and inspection equipment to assess product quality.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed inspection records.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances or defects; work with production team to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inspection and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality personnel to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean and safe inspection work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills to report findings clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) is preferred.
- High school diploma or technical certification; an associate degree or higher is a plus.
Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) preferred.
Compensation
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year; however, Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
