S³, Inc. has an opening for a Production Engineer/Analyst to provide support to our STORM Technical contract at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Description:
The Engineer/Analyst is to provide Production support to the STORM Engineering Directorate-Production Division, by conducting Production Line Validations, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Technical Evaluations, Production Readiness Reviews and Assessments, Capacity Analysis and other technical/production related tasks.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining and cultivating prime contractor/sub-contractor relationships through daily communications, weekly IPT meetings and the timely accomplishment of assignments to ensure Integrated Product Team goals and program objectives are achieved.
· Provide expertise to significantly reduce the risk to the ATACMS program in meeting critical obligations to the U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales Customers.
· Ensure the successful production of the Solid Rocket Motors for ATACMS and other STORM programs to ensure future program milestones.
· Must understand Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and have experience in conducting Production Line Validations (PLVs) to identify and mitigate risks associated with increased/accelerated production.
Qualifications:
· Must have a Secret or higher DoD security clearance.
· 20 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree or 18 years of experience and a Master's Degree.
· Eight or more years of experience working in a project office or industry supporting production related tasks and events.
· Six or more years of experience involved in Manufacturing Readiness and Production Line Validations.
· Two or more years of experience relating to the production/integration of solid rocket motors.
· Prefer one year or more of experience supporting Army missile programs for US and FMS requirements.
· Two or more years of experience working within Integrated Product Teams, coordinating with prime and subcontractor companies related to production, risk reduction, and mitigation strategies are desired.
