Knowledge Centre India (KCI)

Knowledge Centre India (KCI) is one of the two global knowledge centers of Egon Zehnder. Established in January 2005, KCI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Egon Zehnder based out of Gurgaon. KCI has a team of over 60 Specialist Researchers who provide business development, assignment execution and knowledge management services, working across Practice Groups and EZ offices worldwide.

KCI also supports the global operations of EZ through standard research, IT services and documentation with a team strength of 380+.

The Position

The Manager will lead strategic transformation initiatives, driving process reengineering, innovation, and automation across Operations. This includes managing daily workflows, optimizing service delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Resolves unique problems that could occur during the project to minimize delays & provide timely status updates to the executive leadership team.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in process transformation, business process reengineering, and innovation. They should have a proven track record of leading change initiatives in a Global Capability Center, with strong stakeholder management and data-driven decision-making skills.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reengineer legacy processes and introduce best-in-class practices.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement through agile methodologies and lean practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement mistake-proofing mechanisms to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions using automation, AI, and digital tools to streamline workflows.
  • Strong change management capabilities and experience in driving adoption of new processes.
  • Ability to lead transformation programs from ideation to execution with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in deploying automation tools (e.g., RPA, AI/ML) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in process mapping, lean six sigma, and operational diagnostics.
  • Develop comprehensive plans, track progress, and report on performance. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders. Act as the main point of contact for project/ initiative related process, issues, and inquiries. Ensure alignment of activities with overall team objectives.
  • Identify and drive strategic initiatives to support leadership. Analyze market trends and provide actionable insight

The Ideal candidate should have:   

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Transitions, Transformation and Automation projects, 12+ years overall in a Global Capability Center/ Operations
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Experience in data visualization tools
  • Excellent cross-functional coordination abilities
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Managed shifts, streamlining a 24 hours operations shop with shifts involved – able to implement sound work allocation techniques.
