We are seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our client’s Joint Security Operations Centre (JSOC), based in Munich, Germany.
This role is centred on analytical work using open-source intelligence and active monitoring of the Joint Security Operations Centre (JSOC). While intelligence analysis is a core function, the successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying, analysing, and reporting on threats and security incidents. You will be responsible for collecting and interpreting intelligence from a variety of sources, delivering actionable insights to strengthen the organisation’s security posture, and supporting incident response efforts.
As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to the development of intelligence processes and products across the organisation, helping to shape the strategic direction of intelligence capabilities.
This is a shift-based position, requiring on-site presence at the client’s Munich office
Requirements
Tasks and responsibilities
- Assess tactical intelligence sources for immediate relevance and impact to the client organisation
- Monitor and analyse threat intelligence feeds and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to proactively identify emerging threats and assess their relevance to the organisation’s operational environment
- Produce detailed intelligence reports, threat assessments, and stakeholder briefings.
- Correlate threats to client assets and prioritise based on criticality and potential impact.
- Maintain situational awareness of the global threat landscape, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Support scenario planning and contribute to post-incident lessons-learned analysis.
- Assist in the development and refinement of threat intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Create and maintain threat actor profiles.
- Provide intelligence support during incident response and post-incident investigations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant intelligence role, with a focus on physical threat intelligence and activism-related risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in history, Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence Analysis, Criminal Justice, Regional Studies, or a related discipline; master’s degree strongly preferred.
- English is the working language. German and other languages would be beneficial.
- Experience working within a Regional Information Centre (RIC) and/or Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) environment.
- Proven background in open-source intelligence (OSINT), geopolitical/security analysis, or law enforcement intelligence.
- Solid understanding of hybrid threats, including cyber, physical, and reputational dimensions.
- Proficiency in producing clear, concise, and tailored intelligence products such as alerts, forecasts, and briefings.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable intelligence.
- Ability to correlate threats to specific corporate assets and recommend prioritisation measures.
- Experience handling highly confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated adaptability to rapidly changing threat environments and competing tasking priorities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
