Qualifications |
Primary Purpose:
Technical: Assist with student device onboarding and general preparation of student devices. Manage campus device inventory and process work orders as needed for teachers, staff, and students.
Instructional: Assist teachers and students with the implementation of district online curriculum programs. Guide teachers on the access and execution of program reports.
Education/Certification:
Must have completed two years of college (48+ college hours) or obtained an Associate’s Degree
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient in the use of computers
Proficient skills in keyboarding
Technical Familiarity with various operating systems such as: Windows, Apply, Android, and Chrome OS
Basic technical troubleshooting skills
General familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Forms, TEAMS, etc.)
General familiarity with Google Suite of Products/Applications
Follow verbal and written directions accurately
Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
Ability to interact favorably with staff and the public
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Experience:
Computer related experience required

Technical Skills, Responsibilities and Duties |

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Instructional Support
- Assist teachers and students with general technology support to facilitate the instructional programs.
- Assist the teachers and administrative staff in running instructional program reports.
- Assist in setting up instructional program benchmarks.
- Work closely with the Campus Instructional Technologist and the Campus Librarian to provide technical guidance and support for teachers and students on instructional systems.
- Attends and participates in Instructional Technology and MIS Department meetings when necessary. Keeps abreast of any updates to instructional learning programs/systems.
- Maintain computer lab in a neat and orderly manner including bulletin boards and displays.
Technical Support
- Distribute, collect, and prepare student devices throughout the school year.
- Access technical issues and provide minor technical support.
- Assess equipment and open work orders as needed for technical assistance from district MIS Department.Student Management
- Manage student behavior in the computer lab.
- Help supervise students during arrival and dismissal from school.
Other
- Assists with yearly inventory procedures to ensure compliance with Property Control requests.
- Assists and play a key role in student device checkouts.
- Provides input to the campus administration and district technology department on campus technology needs.
- Assists with office and workroom clerical duties as needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Helps supervise students during arrival and dismissal from school.
- Assist with instructional support when teachers are in professional development.
