The Sr. Manufacturing Quality Engineer leads quality assurance activities for critical processes and serves as a technical liaison with other manufacturing sites. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with electronics and manufacturing quality standards.
About Your Role:
• Lead cross-functional investigations for customer issues and manufacturing defects.
• Host technical calls and coordinate with global teams for root cause analysis.
• Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (8D, DMAIC).
• Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and visual standards.
• Support audit readiness and customer-specific requirements.
• Conduct statistical analysis and support validation activities (CPK, Gage R&R, DOE).
• Provide technical training to operators and inspectors on quality standards.
• Review and analyze test data, failure modes, and electronic functionality (GFGC).
About You:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related).
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems and Core Tools
• Intermediate knowledge of electronics, circuit analysis, and soldering standards.
• Hands-on experience with SMT processes and inspection systems (AOI, SPI). • Skilled in reading electrical schematics and interpreting datasheets.
• English: Intermediate to advanced. Must be able to lead technical calls and write professional communication.
