Contract – Permanent

Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00

Location – Bristol with travel Cambridge

The Role:

Working at our Bristol depot, you will report into the Regional Facilities Manager and undertake day to day maintenance and repairs within the depot.

What You’ll Do:

  • Undertake minor projects are directed by the Facilities Manager

  • Support other Depot Site Maintenance Operatives on general depot maintenance/repairs as required

  • Undertake remedial actions from all plant & equipment inspections and environment/safety tours and ensure satisfactory close out, as directed by the Facilities Manager

  • Manage the timely close out of infrastructure defects reports and inform the Facilities Officer when defects have been completed

  • Requesting necessary materials and plant as required ensuring effective completion for the works, minimising waste and surplus materials wherever possible.

  • Conduct a weekly fire alarm test as per plan.

  • Carry out daily wash plant – check sheets.

  • In conjunction with the Facilities Manager co-ordinate contractors/sub-contractors on site(s) involved in the fulfilment of facilities/maintenance contracts.

  • Assist in supplier and customer audits where required

  • Work away from site where required to meet business requirements.

What You Bring:

Experience – previous experience in maintenance is essential

Knowledge – good understanding of COSHH, depot operations and health and safety would be beneficial

Qualifications – good standard of education
