If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools at Levenmouth Academy. We currently have a permanent vacancy covering as required Monday to Friday.
- Cleaner - 10 hours per week 40-week contract (Monday & Tuesday 3:45pm start, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 3:00pm start).
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)
- Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.
No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
