BCUS is currently recruiting for the position of Vice President of Operations.  This role will lead all aspects of the Services Division in the U.S. and Mexico including, but not limited to, field service, maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of third party and Burckhardt Compression (BC) reciprocating compressors.  This role ensures a culture of safety, operational excellence, and employee engagement while driving strategic initiatives, profitability, and performance. The VP Operations is responsible for managing district-level P&Ls, optimizing workforce utilization, and building high-performing teams aligned with Burckhardt Compression’s Values and Behaviors.

 

The ideal candidate is customer focused, results oriented, and has strong leadership skills.  This role requires travel within the US and internationally as necessary. 

 

Qualified candidates should possess the following combination of Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical, Engineering, or Industrial field.
  • 15+ years of experience with high-speed and slow-speed gas compression equipment.
  • 10+ years management experience in a large multi-site organization, preferably in the oil and gas, energy transition service industry.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of P&L performance management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving strategic initiatives and change initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with international business practices and regulations.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and business development would be an asset.

 

Language Skills

  • English: fluent spoken and written.
  • Spanish is a plus.
