The Pajaro Valley Unified School District annually hires coaches to prepare athletes for competition. Coaches have responsibility for: a. teaching sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics; b. conditioning athletes appropriately for activities requiring endurance, strength and agility; c. supervising and conducting practices and contests safely; supervising locker rooms and buses; d. teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to one's team; e. monitoring athletes' school attendance, grades and personal conduct; f. responding to player injuries with approved first aid techniques; g. managing uniforms, equipment and school facilities in a responsible manner; h. provide coverage for absence of coaches.

MATERIALS Aptos Junior High School is accepting applications for 8th Girls Soccer coach for the 2025-2026 school year. Season dates: (October 13, 2025 - November 21, 2025). The school supports approximately 600 students with an administration that understands the importance of the strong link between athletics and academics.

Season Stipend: $2,142
