Under general supervision, responsible for administering the institution's employment data in compliance with all federal, state and local policies, laws and regulations as well as ensuring data quality. In addition, the Talent Data Management Specialist is responsible for the data processing function for the Human Resources Department, including providing data guidelines, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive HRIS data. The Talent Data Management Specialist will also monitor HR system integrations as it relates to syncing of data and ensuring data quality across HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Researches, analyzes, monitors personnel transaction workflows and maintains the accuracy and integrity of data within HR systems.
- Resolves core HR data issues, validates, audits, and maintains the integrity of HR data across multiple HR systems.
- Resolves system interface issues to ensure accurate, timely processing, data entry, and verification of requested personnel transaction.
- Escalates and coordinates technical issues with the HRIS team in resolution of employee data issues.
- Audits data entry in HCM on a regular basis to review data accuracy and compliance.
- Acts as the initial escalation point for data corrections that are required in the PeopleSoft database; escalates further if necessary and executes approved corrections.
- Coordinates with the HRIS team to develop/create related reports as requested to ensure integrity of data.
- Provides support to departments, employees and outside organizations for inquiries and requests related to employment transactions such as position changes and salary changes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge of personnel procedures, practices and policies. Intermediate Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and HR systems; PeopleSoft skills is preferred. Intermediate Skilled in data entry and data analysis. Advanced Advanced computer skills for data analysis. Advanced Professional oral and written communication skills. - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
