Thermal Care, part of the Piovan Group, is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment and systems for applications worldwide. As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries and specializes in meeting the specific needs of our customers by offering both standard and custom designed industrial process cooling solutions. Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing. 


Role 


This position is crucial to maintain an accurate delivery date to our customers externally as well as internally, using the scheduling system, and our ERP system. This position is in Niles, IL and reports to Purchasing/Planning Manager.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job orders, estimates, and production routings in the Made2Manage ERP system
  • Plan orders based on current capacity and material availability
  • Maintain production schedules, prioritizing urgent orders and communicating overtime needs
  • Provide production teams with necessary job documentation and release schedules
  • Monitor finished goods and sub-assembly stock levels
  • Attend scheduling and bookings meetings to review order status and delays
  • Support RFQs, service orders, and end-of-month closeout activities

Communication

  • Share material constraints, shortages, and scheduling risks with management and teams
  • Coordinate with engineering on release dates and updates
  • Distribute production schedules, status updates, and lead time reports regularly 

Requirements

  • Associate degree in related fields or 5+ years' experience in scheduled manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and customer focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, resolve issues, and work in a team environment
  • Office-based role with occasional overtime; may require lifting up to 25 lbs.
