Geotab is seeking a Content Marketing Coordinator Intern who will coordinate content development traffic management, prioritize and report on content backlog, manage and optimize the content resource library, contribute to refreshing aging content on Geotab.com and producing various content types, assist in coordinating campaign tactics, track deliverables, analyze content performance trends, provide insights for optimization, and report on content operations working with business partners and internal teams. What you'll do:
As a Content Marketing Coordinator Intern, your key area of responsibility will be managing content traffic coordination in a project management platform to ensure tickets are executed on time and meeting service level expectations. You’ll maintain the content resource library, contribute to refreshing content on Geotab.com, coordinate campaign tasks and support performance and content operations reporting. You will need to work closely with the content marketing team, segment and corporate marketing team, product marketing, marketing operations and marketing automation team, as well internal business partners.
To be successful in this role, you will be a very organized self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to understand complex projects, be flexible to pivot and work quickly when challenges arise and have strong critical thinking for effective problem-solving. In addition, the successful candidate will have analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects and workflows through to completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
The opportunity:
- 8-month work-term, beginning January 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Coordinate content traffic: Support content project management, routing and assigning tickets across teams, content backlog prioritization and reporting, coordinate projects with design, digital and web teams to ensure completion of tasks on time and to expectation.
- Manage and refresh content: Audit, maintain and optimize the content resource library; edit, update, write content on an as-needed basis for Geotab blog, including case studies and other content types working with content, segment, and product marketing teams along with internal business partners.
- Coordinate content campaigns: Assist on specific segment or corporate campaigns coordinating google forms, concept ideation, creative input, online/offline tactic execution with agencies/media buys, design and web teams, tracking deliverables and other day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Performance reporting: Support trends analysis on content performance, document insights and recommendations for content optimization.
- Content operations reporting: Audit, identify trends and insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Ad hoc communications: Support curating content across business partners and internal teams working closely with the marketing automation team to deploy, test and optimize results.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Enrolled in the fields of Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field is preferred.
- 0-1 years of experience in marketing, digital, communications or content creation is an asset.
- A creative, strategic and flexible thinker, enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with agile squads and cross-functional teams.
- A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational, communication and project management skills.
- High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and ability to analyze information, consider multiple perspectives and make informed decisions, crucial for effective problem-solving.
- Knowledge of current content and digital marketing trends for editorial proofing, conversion copywriting, writing for traditional and digital marketing, e.g., AI, SEO, social media and market research methods is an asset.
- Knowledge in analytics tools, content performance measurement and strategic decision-making based on results is an asset.
- Technical competence using workflow tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira), software programs (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Slides), AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) with a willingness to learn.
