Continuing Medical Education (CME) Senior Program Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees assigned department or functional area to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, hiring and training team members, creating and implementing business strategies, managing performance of team members, and delegating tasks.
- Manages all aspects of accreditation for assigned live activities to ensure compliance with ACCME/MSV requirements; reviews, approves, and manages records for live activities including but not limited to applications, commercial support, exhibits, disclosures, and COI.
- Participates in the ACCME survey process, annual Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) and program review.
- Manages operations and logistics for multiple CME activities including but not limited to, request for proposal (RFP) process, contract negotiations, speaker management, site selection, room sets, audio visual, food & beverage, décor, signage, etc.
- Builds and oversees live activity courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) with all applicable components including registration, payments, faculty management, credit claiming including MOC, CEUs and other credit types as applicable, presentations, recordings, evaluation, etc.
- Serves as the event project manager, owning the logistics and overall management for all assigned activities as well as the related day-to-day communications with clinicians, internal executives, and external partners and following the plan-do-study-act model of program development. Manages the solicitation of sponsorships, educational grants, and exhibit support for CME events.
- Develops, maintains, implements, and monitors a comprehensive project plan for each live activity including planning, needs assessment, implementation, project management, and evaluation.
- Develops, tracks, and manages budgets, including but not limited to pre-and post-event budgeting reports, assessment and analysis of ROI, income tracking, processing of invoices, reporting and reconciliation with the accounting and Inova Foundation teams.
- Oversees the development and distribution of activity-related communications and marketing including but not limited to, print, electronic, and social media; develops and executes a marketing plan for live activities, including targeting the appropriate audience to maximize outreach.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years)
- Experience: 5 years of experience in project management and implementing, meetings and events.

- Experience with Continuing Medical Education
