Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Affairs team, with a focus on agri-food and healthcare policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality strategic advice, and ensuring effective representation of client interests before EU institutions.

 

The day to day 

  • Provide strategic and operational support to clients in the agri-food and healthcare sectors.
  • Monitor and analyse EU legislative and regulatory developments relevant to client interests.
  • Draft policy briefings, position papers, reports, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in EU institutions and relevant trade associations.
  • Organise and attend client meetings, advocacy events, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Contribute to the development of client strategies and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Support business development activities, including research, proposals, and pitches.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

 

About you 

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in EU public affairs, consultancy, trade associations, or EU institutions.
  • Sound understanding of EU policymaking processes, with proven expertise in agri-food and/or healthcare policy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in other EU languages is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Professionalism, team spirit, and a proactive, client-oriented mindset.
  • Master’s degree in politics, EU affairs, economics, law or a related discipline.
  • A relevant Brussels network is considered a strong advantage.
