About the Role

We’re looking for a Quality & EHS Manager to lead our integrated management systems and champion a culture of safety and quality across our operations on a full-time basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

As the Quality & EHS Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our Quality Assurance, Environmental, and Health & Safety systems.
You will ensure compliance with ISO standards, lead strategic improvement initiatives, and support the delivery of high-quality products.
This role also serves as the WHS Safety Manager, driving safety governance, emergency preparedness, and sustainability efforts.

 

Quality & Business Excellence:

  • Lead quality assurance functions to support timely, high-quality production.
  • Maintain and improve Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, and 22301.
  • Manage non-conformances and customer complaints in a manufacturing setting.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and other methodologies.
  • Report on system performance and contribute to regional/global improvement programs.

 

Environment, Health & Safety:

  • Oversee WHS governance, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
  • Coordinate safety representatives, training, and evacuation drills.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction and resource efficiency.
  • Manage Return-to-Work programs and maintain partnerships with health providers.
  • Ensure compliance with ANZ legislation and internal safety standards.


About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Formal training in risk management, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
  • Proficiency in EHS management systems and data reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of relevant ANZ legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead Auditor certification in ISO standards (desirable).
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) with demonstrated application in process improvement (desirable).
  • Enjoys a collaborative work environment.
  • Possess the drive to lead impactful initiatives that will shape our safety and quality culture.
