Oxford Government Consulting (Oxford) is seeking an experienced managing principal to support its management consulting practice. Oxford is a privately held, certified, service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. Oxford’s consulting practice is centered on providing exceptional technology consulting to the federal government. Oxford was founded in 2009, focusing on the federal information technology marketplace and is ideally-suited for the current technology needs of the large and growing federal government market. Oxford understands the most complex challenges facing the federal government today and knows that those challenges demand complex solutions supported by high-caliber employees.     

  • Leads management consulting activities.
  • Duties include program support, project monitoring and control, meeting facilitation/minutes, high-level analysis, IT strategy support, support related to statutory requirements and compliance, program communications, training, business process reengineering, and integration of other procedures and disciplines.   

Experience/Qualifications   

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred.  
  • Ten to fifteen years of hands-on technical experience providing program management services and support to public sector organizations.  
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with IT project management.   
  • IT strategic planning experience and investment group facilitation experience.  
  • Proven ability to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for federal IT investment projects.  
  • Strong writing and communication skills.  
  • Experience and ability to lead a team.  
  • Proven experience communicating and interfacing with senior executives.  
  • Consulting presence required.  
  • U.S. citizen.  
  • Bachelor’s degree.
