About the Role

The IT Asset Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately unloading, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments of equipment, materials, and supplies. This role ensures that all items are properly documented, verified against purchase orders, and prepared for storage or further processing. The IT Asset Receiving Associate plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Hours/Days: Monday- Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM

Rate: $12.00 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently, using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as required.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quantity, description, and condition.
  • Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues to the Receiving Supervisor promptly.
  • Tag, label, and route materials to designated storage areas or production departments.
  • Accurately record receipts in the inventory management system.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other operations and production team members to support smooth material flow.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and security guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.); certification a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be available and ready to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
