Position Summary:              

 

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is responsible formanaging the forecasting, planning and analytical functions of theCompany.  It exists to manage the budgeting/forecasting processes, provide performance and decision support analysis, assess risks, and prepare key reports and presentations.  Broad based thinking, business acumen andstrong analytical skills are prerequisites for this role.

 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:             Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting 

                                Master’s Degree inFinance/Accounting, strongly preferred

                                

Experience:          7-10years relevant finance experience

Experiencecreating financial models that accurately forecast income statement and cashflow results

                                Experiencewith International entities, including knowledge of working with FX onaccounting         

                                Experience developing andimplementing Hyperion (or other forecasting system) encouraged

                                Experience in manufacturing entities

  • Analyze pricing and other terms for major sales programs / newbusiness opportunities;

  • Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecast processes;

  • Create multi-scenario forecast model that are integrated with detailed budgets - “what if” analysis; 

  • Communicate financial and performance information to the Executiveteam and Board concisely;

  • Utilize knowledge of systems e.g. Cognos to automate recurringprocesses and information;

  • Ensure financial processes adapt to meet the ever changing needsof the business; and

  • Ensure corporate and business unit monthly reports are insightful,timely and accurate.
