Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal - FTC presso Ivcevidensia

Mainstone Vets strives to provide the best personalised care for its clients and their patients. We are a growing practice who has deep roots within the local community of Romsey. We are constantly investing in and improving the facilities we use to care for our patients, as well as our staff. We pride ourselves on our personal approach to our cases and our communication around treatment and options. We are ideally located in the beautiful Broadlands Estate within easy reach of the M27. 

We are looking for a full time (40hrs) 1 year fixed term contract registered veterinary nurse as a maternity leave cover.  We are a close knit 6 nurse, 6 vet and 6 reception/admin team who prioritise patient care, client care and working as a team.  We love to bring new ideas, progressive treatments as well as enjoying ourselves.

We like to think we are all very friendly and approachable.  We have ECC and feline nursing certificate holders in the nursing team, and ECC and opthalmology certificate holders in the vet team.  We have regular nursing, clinical and practice meetings.  We socialise on a regular basis from working in the practice garden, to team BBQ’s, nights out and actively engage with our local community,  attending many shows, running open days and doing talks at the local schools. 

We welcome applications from registered nurses with a few years of experience, but it is more important that you are keen to be a part of our team and to contribute to our high-quality care. Motivation is the key requirement; we have a really positive progressive team and want to keep an emphasis on this. Communication is key and something we pride ourselves and our clients expect from us, so this would be a critical skill for any applicant.
