Job Overview
To ensure the optimal functionality and reliability of mechanical and electrical systems within the facility. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as basic PC skills, including proficiency with the Office 365 suite and PLC knowledge.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and work completed.
- Assist in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support overall maintenance efforts and improve equipment reliability.
- Utilize basic PC skills, including proficiency with the Office 365 suite, to document maintenance activities and communicate with team members.
- Apply knowledge of PLC systems to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
- Basic PC skills, including proficiency with the Office 365 suite.
- Knowledge of PLC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments.
