Description
Skytech, Inc. is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Line Service Technician to join our team in Westminster, MD. This role supports aircraft ground operations and customer service on the ramp and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about aviation.
Line Service Technicians must be flexible and available to work shifts that support FBO operations.
- Weekday Shifts:
- Morning: 6:00am-2:00pm
- Afternoon: 12:00pm-8:00pm
- Weekend Shift:
- 8:00am-7:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Providing exceptional customer experience is our highest priority. We are committed to ensuring every customer feels valued and well-supported, regardless of the size or type of aircraft or frequency of visits. The Line Service Technician will:
- Fuel aircraft in accordance with NATA Aviation Fuel procedures
- Tow, park, and marshal aircraft safely using appropriate equipment
- Perform lavatory service, check and add oil, and inspect tire pressure
- Conduct daily and monthly inspections of fuel trucks and fuel farm
- Assist with offloading fuel deliveries
- Support pilots and passengers with baggage and cargo handling
- Maintain clean and organized hangars, ramp areas, and shade ports
- Respond to emergencies and assist safely as needed
- Monitor and secure facilities per opening/closing checklists
- Identify and report suspicious or unauthorized personnel
- Keep ramp and runway clear of foreign objects
- Assist customers with FBO facilities and coordinate with Customer Service Representatives
- Wash/detail aircraft per specifications
- Uphold Skytech’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders
- Comfortable working in inclement weather
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions/decimals)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Completion of NATA Safety First and Skytech SMS training within 2 months of hire
- Preferred: mechanical/electrical knowledge, aviation experience, ability to work independently

The pay range for this position is $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
