RSP Architects' Rochester office is seeking a talented and collaborative Project Architect to join our team.  We established our Rochester office in 2006 and are prideful of the reputation we have earned in the community and the diversity of our clients that span Healthcare, Life Sciences, Corporate, Entertainment, Hospitality, Housing, Mixed Use, Municipal and Retail sectors.

 Job Responsibilities Include: 

• Delivering overall design quality consistent with project scope, schedule, budget and client goals
• Actively building upon current client relationships and proactively building new and future client relationships
• Working closely with Project Managers to coordinate and streamline work efforts amongst all internal and external team members
• Effectively communicating and integrating design work efforts with teammates and consultants throughout all project phases
• Contribute to the culture of design within the office and RSP at large

What RSP is Looking For:  

• Demonstrated talent in architectural design
• Passion for excellence in client service
• Leadership experience working with clients, teammates and consultants 
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, able to successfully articulate ideas verbally and visually  
• Ability to both multi-task and be organized
• A reliable professional able to quickly gain the trust and confidence of clients, teammates and consultants 
• A diverse project portfolio, ideally including some healthcare, corporate, hospitality and/or higher education project experience
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
• Proficiency with contemporary design, analytic, design visualization and design documentation software 

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture required
• Registered Architect required
• 6-10 years professional experience in an architecture firm preferred
