The Inventory Control & Asset Analyst will oversee JDE and MIPS system transactions, including purchase order creation and receipt, inventory reconciliation and procedural compliance. The Analyst will be responsible for tracking assets such as tools, samples, components, raw materials and finished goods, as well as managing shipping and receiving activities.
Key Accountabilities
Inventory Control:
- In-bound receiving of all Merchandising Assets. (Loose stones, vendor samples and components, raw materials)
- Systematically track all inventories within JDIW. Maintain inventory in the proper stocking locations and track vendor sample returns.
- Perform tooling inventories and audits
- Track all finished goods, samples, components, raw materials and loose stones in an efficient and accurate manner on a daily basis.
Systems:
- Create unique item numbers including purchase orders and enter detailed information in JDE for all tooling, samples, components and sundries
- Issue components, raw materials to all JDIW work orders (job bags)
- Manage work order inventory reconciliations, metal weigh ups
- Create JDE requisitions for all non- inventory items (MRO) including shop supplies.
- Analyze and troubleshoot negative inventory situations in JDE/MIPS systems.
- Resolve system discrepancies in System Tracking tools to ensure system and physical inventory remains accurate.
Asset Movement:
- Asset record creation and tracking by physical location, inclusive of signature log for all movement within the JDIW.
- Coordinate movement of all product samples, finished goods, components and loose stones between multiple parties.
- Coordinate and follow up of all casting orders, casting vendor pick-ups/drop offs.
- Open all inbound packages and check contents for accuracy. Immediately inform manager/supervisor of any discrepancy between documentation and contents.
Process Efficiencies:
- Ensure all outbound shipments are packaged properly and processed in a timely manner.
- Perform the daily high value count and conduct inventory cycle counts to confirm inventory accuracy.
Communication:
- Ensure comprehensive communication with all stakeholders on the movement of assets. Report any missing merchandise using established Tiffany process.
Safety:
- Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of JDE and Excell
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- 2+ years operational experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree
The hiring range for this position ranges from $70,125.00 - $82,500.00. The rate of pay offered will be depending upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
