POSITION SUMMARY
The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Cage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Cage Shift Manager and Manager in the successful operations of the Cage. The Cage Supervisor is also responsible for providing information to employees and guests about events in the casino, supervising all cage employees in the performance of their duties, and making sure that areas are clean and safe for guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience. Demonstrate resiliency when faced with difficult situations under all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
2. Safeguard company assets.
3. Maintains working knowledge of Cage operations functions, and adheres to all Cage and Company policies and procedures.
4. Updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to Team Members regarding policy or scheduling changes.
5. Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards and maintains communications with all work areas to verify paperwork and inventory control.
6. Handle guest disputes and control violations.
7. Is responsible for tracking variances, ICER’s, scheduling, ensuring the redemption and ATM machines are operations and any other duties assigned.
8. Is held accountable for all funds entrusted to them on an assigned shift.
9. Provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all guest in a confidential manner. Balances all money transactions and verifies paperwork.
10. Creates teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions. Acts as a role model; presenting oneself as a credit to Century Casino Cape Girardeau and encouraging others to do the same.
11. Disciplines, Recognition, Evaluations, Staffing and interviewing new candidates.
12. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and Company policies in an ethical manner and require others to do the same.
13. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to define situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
14. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand up to 8 hours; walk; use hands to type on the key board and to count money; reach with arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Mental Demands:
Must be able to add and multiply in head; count currency; verify paperwork; research variances; track ICER’s; do a schedule and balance the Main Bank.
Must be able to cut and count chips.
Must be able to multi-task; ability to read and write; ability to complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred; previous cashiering or banking experience preferred and/or two years in the Casino Industry.
Knowledge:
Must be able to use a computer, telephone, 10 key calculator, complete forms and have basic mathematical skills.
Other:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.
Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.
Must complete all required company training.
