Our Stewardship & Enablement Analyst plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include bridging day-to-day operational data management with strategic, domain-specific data expertise, helping to ensure data is accurate, accessible, trusted, and effectively leveraged across the organization. The Data Stewardship & Enablement Analyst will play a critical part in shaping data governance practices, supporting business processes, and collaborating with data owners, analysts, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure data integrity and value. What the Data Stewardship & Enablement Analyst Does Each Day:
- Oversees the data lifecycle within assigned applications, including creation, maintenance, usage, and retirement of data assets
- Defines and manages metadata, data dictionaries, and workflows for business-critical applications (e.g., Infor, Master Control, Salesforce, LIMS etc.)
- Spots data inconsistencies, root-cause issues and propose remediation
- Identifies and resolves data quality issues, implementing controls and monitoring processes to ensure ongoing data accuracy
- Builds consensus around data definitions, usage and ownership
- Collaborates with application owners, developers, and end users to align system workflows with best practices for data handling
- Profiles, cleans, validates, and monitors data to ensure high data integrity and quality
- Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for data within assigned functional areas (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality etc.)
- Assists in the processes in the data governance framework (e.g., ownership, stewardship, lineage, cataloging)
- Advises and educates departments on best practices for data usage, analytics and AI
- Translates business requirements into data specifications and definitions to guide analytic development, AI modeling and system configuration
- Assists in the design and validation of KPIs, metrics, dashboards and AI models based on high-quality, consistent data sources
- Supports and enforces data governance policies, standards, and practices
- Collaborates with BI, IT and business teams to improve data stewardship processes and tools
- Participates in data quality initiatives, audits, and cleansing projects
- Acts as the liaison between technical teams (BI developers, IT) and business units
- Educates and supports end-users in proper data management practices

- Is curious about how and why data is used, collected and shared.
- Understands data governance frameworks (e.g., ownership, stewardship, lineage, cataloging)
- Has experience in metadata management and data documentation
- Has knowledge of master data management (MDM) principles
- Understands APIs, integrations, and how data moves between systems
- Has a strong grasp of business processes and functional domains (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales)
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data stewardship, data management, business analysis, or related roles
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and metadata management
- Experience working with business applications (e.g., Infor, Master Control, Salesforce, LIMS) and associated workflows
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and how data moves between systems
- Familiarity with analytic visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in priority quickly and seamlessly
- Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and process ad-hoc request
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
