Associate degree required, Bachelor’s preferred or 5 years of relevant experience
Able to receive Maine DOE Criminal History Records Check authorization
Preferred previous experience working in a school environment, supporting financial systems, and knowledge of Maine School Law is a plus.
Description: The Accounting Coordinator position plays an integral role in RSU 18’s business office providing a wide variety of administrative and district supports in matters pertaining to finance, business, and accounting. The successful candidate for this position will be someone able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy using strong organizational, analytical, communication and technology skills.
The Accounting Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Business and Finance. The candidate will be capable of exercising independent judgment and actions while working with administration, teams, district staff, external agencies, and the public on a wide variety of matters and must maintain highest level of confidentiality in the performance of all duties.
RSU 18 offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, competitive wages and a generous benefits package. This is a year-round, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week position.
