Position Description
Travel Required
Major/Essential Functions
- This forward-facing position is expected to interact regularly with K-8 teachers, counselors, students, and their families.
- Design and implement age-appropriate campus visit experiences for K-8 student groups that showcase the collegiate environment.
- Develop collaborations and partnerships among Texas Tech entities and programs, the community, public, private, and non-profit organizations.
- Ensure all logistical aspects of K-8 visits are managed, including communication with schools, parking, meals, risk management compliance, space reservation, accessibility needs, and other activities as needed.
- Plan and coordinate programming such as Red Raider Academy, Eighth Grade Excursion, Institute of Reading Development, and more.
- Travel as needed to local schools and lead off-campus college access presentations for K-8 schools.
- Manage and supervise students assisting with College Connect programming.
- Support Orientation Services programming as needed.

- Skilled in personnel and financial management.
- Demonstrated ability in planning, implementation, marketing, and evaluation of complex programs and projects.
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability for working with broad range activities and development of programs and services.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt to various University community needs.
