There will be two MRIs dedicated for simulation and brachytherapy, as well as orthovoltage, a CT simulator, and a PET-CT simulator. We are a full-service program including prostate, gyne and ocular brachytherapy, SBRT, TBI, pediatric cancers and stereotactic radiosurgery.%26nbsp; There are close interdisciplinary working relationships with Medical Physics, Medical, Surgical, Gynecologic, Hematologic, Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care.%26nbsp; There are strong research links with the Arne Charbonneau Cancer Institute at the University of Calgary. A full complement of ancillary staff and services are available. Qualifications:

You must have an MD degree and Canadian specialist certification in Radiation Oncology, or the equivalent. You must be eligible for licensure as a specialist by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and for appointment to the medical staff of AHS. The successful applicant will be expected to obtain an appointment within the Department of Oncology at the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. 

Experience / interest in lymphoma, palliative radiotherapy, GI and head and neck are an asset. 

This position will be eligible for the Labor Market Impact Assessment process and AHS Sponsorship for CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment.
