Job Summary:
The Senior Treasury Analyst is a critical member of the University’s Finance team, responsible for overseeing treasury operations, revenue share reporting, and external events accounting and invoicing. This role ensures effective cash and investment management, accurate financial tracking of shared revenue arrangements, and timely billing and reconciliation of university-hosted events. The position plays a vital role in supporting the University’s financial integrity, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Treasury Operations
- Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Reconcile various bank accounts and oversee banking transactions.
- Track and report on restricted and unrestricted cash balances.
- Analyze borrowing needs and support debt issuance processes.
- Assist in the development of treasury-related policies and procedures.
2. Revenue Share Reporting
- Maintain and analyze financial data related to revenue-sharing agreements with internal and external partners.
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation, allocation, and reporting of shared revenues.
3. External Events Accounting and Invoicing
- Coordinate the financial management of external events hosted on campus, including conferences, facility rentals, and third-party programming.
- Track event-related revenues and expenses and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures.
- Reconcile event accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Qualifications
Qualification Standards:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Minimum 4-6 years of relevant accounting and treasury experience.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and high level of integrity.
Preferred Experience

Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or public-sector audit environments
