Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is seeking an exceptional faculty member for a full-time psychology position beginning either January or August 2025.
Duties include:
- Teaching a variety of lower- and upper-level psychology courses, based on expertise and departmental need (4:4 teaching load)
- Measuring and analyzing program outcomes for continuous improvement
- Engaging students with innovative teaching practices
- Developing and implementing curriculum based on student and profession needs
- Partnering across the university for student recruiting, retention, and graduation
- Creating performance and program goals with continuous reflection and a willingness to accept feedback
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- PhD in Psychology or a related discipline
- Experience teaching a variety of psychology courses
- ABA experience is desirable but not required.
- Commitment to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students
- The ability to create dynamic and relevant learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom by continuously seeking and applying new, relevant information and ideas.
- A genuine interest in student development as it relates to mentoring for internships, employment and graduate study
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation; and an ability to interact effectively and work productively, cooperatively, and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups

Compensation:
Wages are commensurate with education, experience and individual strengths.
