The Impact you will have in this role:
 
As a member of the Chief Financial Office, the Strategic Procurement & Transformation Executive Director, will play a critical role in shaping the future of DTCC's strategic sourcing and procurement function. Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, this leader will drive the transformation of procurement and strategic sourcing processes, technology enablement (including advanced analytics and generative AI), and procurement strategy to deliver sustainable value, efficiency, and risk mitigation across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in redesigning the operating model, implementing next-generation procurement technologies and processes, and embedding best-in-class practices that align with DTCC's strategic objectives. 

Your Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design and execution of DTCC’s procurement transformation roadmap, including process optimization, digital enablement, and procurement strategy.
  • Drive the integration of generative AI and advanced analytics to automate processes, enhance decision-making, and unlock new value in procurement operations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align procurement transformation initiatives with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Implement and champion procurement technologies (e.g., e-sourcing, contract lifecycle management, AI-driven analytics) to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supplier relationships, improve performance, and mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate closely with the Third-Party Risk Management team to ensure supplier onboarding, monitoring, and compliance processes are embedded into the new procurement operating model.
  • Establish governance frameworks, critical metrics, and reporting mechanisms to measure transformation success and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a change champion, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across the procurement organization and business partners.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and IT to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in procurement, digital transformation, and supplier management.
  • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • 10–15 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and transformation leadership within a global organization.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale procurement transformation initiatives, including process redesign and technology implementation.
  • Strong expertise in supplier strategy, category management, and procurement operating models.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI technologies (including generative AI) to drive procurement innovation and efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and team member management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
