The Director of Development, Corporate and Foundation Relations is a fundraising leader responsible for leading and executing the strategic direction of Temple Health's corporate and foundation fundraising initiatives. This role involves cultivating and managing relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and key stakeholders to secure financial support for Temple Health's critical mission, clinical programs, and projects. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of External Relations, the position will work closely with leadership, development staff, and other departments to identify funding opportunities, prepare compelling proposals, and steward donor relationships to ensure long-term partnership success. The role also includes creating targeted fundraising strategies, representing the organization at networking events, and overseeing the development of fundraising materials such as proposals and reports. Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, creating targeted funding strategies, identifying and securing new (major and principal $100,000+) funding sources, and representing the organization at various networking events and meetings.

Education
Bachelor's degree in business or related field Required
Master's Degree Preferred

Experience
5 years' experience in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporations and foundations Required
5 years' experience in fundraising Required
5 years' experience in cultivating and securing gifts within a medical organization Preferred
5 years experience in identifying donors Preferred
5 years experience in a clinical/medical fundraising setting Preferred
