Job Title: Product Sales Lead
Department: Guest Services

Status: Seasonal (FT & PT)

Reporting To: Guest Service Manager


Position Overview:


Powder Mountain is seeking a friendly, polished and professional Product Sales Associate for our 25/26 Winter Season. If you are self-motivated and interested in providing an exceptional experience for our guests, you are a great fit!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily operations of Guest Services, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the front desk, ski rental, lessons and other guest service areas.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Powder Mountain’s season pass, day pass offerings, rentals, and lesson products.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Powder Mountain and Powder Haven’s terrain.
  • Lead and motivate the Guest Services team, ensuring all staff members are knowledgeable, well-prepared, capable of handling guest inquiries effectively and uphold the department's expectations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Retail, Rentals, and Ski School, to coordinate services and ensure a seamless experience for all resort visitors.
  • Maintain cross-training in the operation of PUB kiosks and provide assistance to guests in outdoor areas as needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of courteous, professional, and prompt service at all times.
  • Address and resolve escalated guest complaints or concerns, taking appropriate action to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction, including issuing complimentary tickets, processing cancellations, and providing refunds when necessary.
  • Monitor and uphold the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of all Guest Services areas.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new Guest Services staff, providing ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to support performance improvement.
  • Ensure all team members are well-versed in safety protocols, resort policies, and customer service best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest experience, implementing solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Gather and evaluate guest feedback to provide actionable insights for improving services and resort offerings.
  • Willing to cross-train and work in all areas/locations of Powder Mountain
  • Maintain a clean workstation and enjoy working in a team.
  • Occasionally clear snow and or ice from guest service areas. .
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • 18 years old or older.
  • Be polished, polite, resourceful, and one-step-ahead of the needs of our guests.
  • Proficient with computers and point of sale systems.
  • Be able to multi-task and efficiently handle competing priorities.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Desire to work at 9,000 ft elevation with exposure to inclement weather.
  • Reliable transportation, or commitment to using UTA.
  • Ability to work, weekends, holiday, evenings, on call.
  • Adhere to a flexible schedule with early mornings and late departures.

Physical Requirements- Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to:

  • Full range of body movements
  • Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (50+lbs)
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
  • Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
  • Climb/descend stairs/ladders

Working Environment:

Work is performed primarily outside and is exposed to extreme temperatures, sun and wind, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (9,000ft+). Parking lot surfaces are compacted snow/ice and can become slippery.
