We are the #5 fastest growing company among the Silicon Valley Top 50 technology firms. Our unprecedented global expansion has provided us with the opportunity to offer a large number of new positions to the technology community. We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.
Job Summary:
As an AI Cloud Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering next-generation full-stack (hardware + software) datacenter solutions that combine Supermicro’s cutting-edge GPU platforms, high-speed networking, scalable storage, and advanced cooling technologies. You will help shape the future of AI infrastructure—supporting GenAI, high-performance computing, and massive data pipelines—by aligning customer needs with Supermicro’s engineering innovation and operational capabilities.
This role requires deep knowledge of the AI cloud software ecosystem—both public and on-premise—as well as the hardware that powers it. Success demands a blend of product leadership, market research, project coordination, and executive-level communication. You will lead through influence to develop and drive to market tightly integrated solutions built on platforms such as NVIDIA HGX, AMD Instinct, NVMe-over-Fabrics, Supermicro DLC/air cooling, and AI-aware telemetry and monitoring systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy for Modern Datacenters
Work with Supermicro’s Datacenter Building Blocks to define specific solutions and contribute to a DCBBS product roadmap for cutting-edge datacenter solutions that integrate GPU-accelerated computing, high-speed networking, and scalable storage. Stay ahead of industry trends in AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, and next-gen data pipelines.
• Cross-Functional Project Leadership
Lead the planning and execution of multi-disciplinary initiatives across hardware engineering, software teams, operations, and marketing. Coordinate development of tightly integrated solutions involving GPUs (e.g., NVIDIA HGX, AMD MI300X, Intel Gaudi), SmartNICs, NVMe storage, and AI-ready platforms.
• Thermal & Power Innovation Support
Collaborate with Supermicro product teams and utilize their cutting-edge designs to build complete datacenter solutions optimized for both direct liquid cooling (DLC) and high-efficiency air cooling. Support TCO and energy-efficiency evaluations in customer datacenter environments.
• Monitoring, Analytics & Optimization
Partner with Supermicro Supercloud software and BIOS/BMC teams to ensure DCBBS solutions take advantage of the latest Supermicro monitoring and analytics capabilities, enabling predictive maintenance, performance tuning, and workload-aware optimization for AI and HPC use cases.
• Gen-AI and Data Workflow Enablement
Work closely with AI/ML architects to identify the latest trends in infrastructure requirements for GenAI training, inference, and massive data processing workloads. Understand the myriad of Supermicro products and features that can optimize large language models, data lakes, and AI pipelines.
• Customer-Centric Market Research
Conduct research with hyperscalers, enterprise customers, and channel partners to understand evolving requirements around AI data centers. Use insights to influence feature prioritization, packaging, and differentiation.
• Presentation & Enablement
Develop executive-level presentations, customer-facing collateral, and sales tools that clearly articulate the value of Supermicro’s DCBBS AI cloud infrastructure portfolio. Represent the product roadmap in internal and external briefings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in product management, solutions architecture, or technical marketing
• Strong background in datacenter infrastructure (servers, networking, storage), AI platforms, or cloud-native environments
• Demonstrated experience driving complex projects in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
• Excellent presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and storytelling for executive and technical audiences
• Ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement activities
• High-level understanding of product lifecycle—from concept to launch
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Supermicro hardware, NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, or cloud orchestration
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!)
• Prior experience in enterprise IT, datacenter design, or cloud infrastructure product development
• MBA or advanced degree in technical or business field
Salary Range
$162,000 - $182,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
